Special events make up a large part of the experience of the Currency Conference, giving individuals the opportunity for unique networking and also the chance to see some of the city. The Spouse/Guest Tour helps encourage delegates to bring their family/friends along for the experience, making the Currency Conference a family affair.
Read on for a taste of what Dubai offered to the 2019 Currency Conference delegates and families...
The Sahara Fortress, an original fortress set in 37 million square feet of undulating dunes and populated with indigenous flora and fauna, was the ideal setting for delegates' first night in the United Arab Emirates. Combining luxury with nature and culture, the Fortress offered an authentic glimpse into the rich history and traditions of the Arab world inspired by the Bedouin lifestyle.
Delegates stopped by for a drink and a tasty Italian-style snack before heading to other evening adventures. This casual meet-up with CR was a great way to unwind after the day's intense program. All delegates were welcome.
The exquisite design of the Dubai Opera, a masterpiece of contemporary design and a stylish tribute to Dubai’s maritime and pearl-hunting history, was the setting for the 2019 Gala Dinner. Located in Downtown Dubai, often considered the most prestigious square kilometer in the world, delegates witnessed views of the majestic Dubai Fountain and the iconic Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building. The beauty of this special venue, the delectable taste of the culinary creations, and the most captivating entertainment, together created an unforgettable, elegant experience.
But the night didn't end there for the adventurous...
